Lincoln Cottages is home to Lincoln Aviator, a first of its kind in the World. Our research has shown that there is no one else who offers what we are able to provide, that is to experience flight in varied forms, while enjoying the sights and sounds of Africa in and around Pietermaritzburg, Kwa-Zulu Natal province. We offer introductory flying experiences in the following disciplines:
• Conventional flying in two types of light aircraft - fly a Cessna 172, one of the world’s top training
aircraft, as well as the “Sling” recreational aero plane based at Pietermaritzburg, KZN Province. Other
areas visited and experiences to be enjoyed include:
• Microlight flying - experience flying a "Fox Bat" Micro light based at uMkomass on the KZN South
Coast
• Gliding - fly a conventional glider based near Howick, KZN Midlands.
• Hot Air Ballooning – experienced at Tala Game reserve
• Zip lining at Karkloof Nature reserve.
